(Q2). Can people in other states receive certificates and services through WhatsApp under the "Mana Mitra" WhatsApp governance scheme?

Answer: Mana Mitra WhatsApp Governance is based on household data from Andhra Pradesh.

If non-AP residents apply using documents from another state, their application will be rejected in the officer's login since only Andhra Pradesh-issued documents are accepted.

However, if you are a citizen of Andhra Pradesh and possess valid state-issued documents, you can apply from anywhere, even if you are not listed in the household data.

(Q3). Our family’s household data is linked to one area, but the address on Aadhaar belongs to another. Can we apply for caste, income, or OBC certificates?

Answer: If your household data is registered in one district secretariat but your Aadhaar address belongs to a different area, your application may be rejected.

For example, the 'Polinativelama' caste is classified as BC-D in coastal regions but OC in Nellore.

To avoid rejection, ensure your household data and Aadhaar address match.

(Q4). What happens if false documents are submitted to obtain a certificate or service through Mana Mitra WhatsApp Governance?

Answer: When false documents are submitted, the application is submitted and payment is deducted, but it gets rejected in the officer's login.

(Q5). Can I obtain an OBC certificate if I don't have property or income tax return details?

Answer: The issuance of an OBC certificate is based on income sources, and a rice card is considered valid proof. If a rice card is unavailable, you must submit a notarized document.

Similarly, if a government employee is listed in your household data, providing their salary statement will suffice.

(Q6). Why is my name not showing correctly in the WhatsApp-based application as per Aadhaar, and how can I fix it?

Answer: If your name is showing incorrectly due to an incorrect entry in your household data, you can visit a nearby Secretariat and use the 'Citizen Ekyc' option in the Digital Assistant login.

Alternatively, contact a Grama/Ward Secretariat employee to click 'Update Ekyc' in their 'Employee Mobile Application' to resolve the issue.

(Q7). Are WhatsApp governance services in Andhra Pradesh safe for protecting user personal information?

Answer: The Andhra Pradesh government ensures that all services provided via WhatsApp are secure.

To access any service, users must enter their Aadhaar details and verify with an OTP sent to their Aadhaar-linked mobile number. This ensures no transactions are processed without user consent.

(Q8). Can people without a smartphone access certificates and services on WhatsApp use someone else's phone?

Answer: Yes, you can access it, but payments must be made through the digital payment app linked to that mobile number.

Conclusion:

Andhra Pradesh’s Mana Mitra WhatsApp governance initiative is revolutionizing how citizens access essential government services.

This innovative platform allows residents to obtain vital certificates and services with just a few messages, making the process quick and efficient.

Whether you're a farmer needing an agriculture income certificate, a student applying for scholarships, or someone seeking other government services, Mana Mitra brings these tasks directly to your phone.

By being the first state in India to implement such a comprehensive digital governance system, Andhra Pradesh is setting the standard for citizen-centered services in the digital age.
