What are the merits of the APR Junior Colleges?

  • The APR institutions working under school education department, government of Andhra Pradesh
  • The APR junior colleges are providing education in residential mode only.
  • Individual attention is being paid on each student
  • The APR Junior colleges are provided with good infrastructure facilities in addition to well-equipped laboratories, libraries, reading rooms and play grounds with well-equipped physical education department
  • Apart from the academic activities, importance is given to sports and games and other c0-curricular activities for the all-round development of the students
  • Loco-Parent system is implemented by appointing one lecturer as Loco-Parent to a group of 15 to 20 students for taking personal care of each student
  • Long term coaching is being provided to students for exams like IIT/NEET/CA-CPT. Digital classes will also be provided whenever necessary
  • Day starts with the physical exercises and classes commence at 8.00 AM and academic & Co-curricular activities continue till 10.00 PM in the night.

Eligibility:

  1. Canditate must be a resident of India and must have studied in the state of Andhra Pradesh only.
  2. The student who qualified in SSC or equivalent study during the academic year 2022-23 are only eligible for admission

The Candidate should arrange all below original documents and two sets of xerox copies with attested by gazetted officer at the date of counselling

  10. If the candidate belongs to PHC category, he or she shall submit the SADAREM CERTIFICATE of 40% minimum disability issused by the District Medical Board
  11. If the Candidate has meritories in sports category, the student shall submit above or District level participation certificates
  12. Under CAP (Chidren of Armed Personnel) category, the candidate shall submit the certificate that the parent of the candidate must be an ex-service person or presently in defense service issued by the District Sainik Board.
  13. Under Orphan category, the student shall submit the certificate issued by the concerned MRO that the candidate has no parents.

Counselling Process:

The entire Admission process will be based on the group wise merit in Common Entrance Examination and Reservation. In case of among the candidates getting same marks in the APRJC CET, the order of merit will be decided as below

  • Higher marks secured by the students in Mathematics for MPC/EET, Biological Science for BPC/CGT and Social Studies for MEC/CEC will be giving first preference.
  • If still the tie persists, the higher marks secured by the candidate in Physical Science for MPC/EET and BPC/CGT and Mathematics for MEC/CEC will be considered
  • If still the tie persists, it will be decided by taking advanced Age as per the criteria
  • If still the tie persists, and if the tie is between a Male and Female candidate then, Female candidate shall be given higher rank.
  • If still the tie persists, the following communities getting a higher rank: ST > SC > BC-A > BC-B > BC-C > BC-D > BC-E > OC
  • The Counselling will be conducted by the ratio of 1:5 short listed students. While conducted for Andhra region and Rayalaseema region separately.
  • In case eligible candidates not available under special category, the seats may be alloted to the OC category.
  • If eligible candidates not available for the group of EET/CGT of a particular region, the vacant seats may be filled by the eligible candidates from other region and vice versa.

How to apply APRJC CET 2023?

All the candidates belongs to General category, SC, ST and special category students must visit aprs portal for applying.

Payment Process:

The student pay the fee of 300 rupees through online either using Credit/Debit card or Net Banking by opening the link during the mentioned time period. During the payment of fee online, the candidate has to give the required data such as Name of the candidate, Date of Birth, Aadhar Number and Mobile Number. The given mobile number will be verified through OTP and remember one mobile number can be used for one application only. After payment of fee online, a Candidate ID is generated to keep it that one.

Application Form:

The Candidate shall be ready with a photograph and signature of size 3.5 x 4.5 cms before filling form and scanned together. Then click on Andhra Pradesh Residential Junior College Admission Form then enter generated Candidate ID and Date of Birth. After successfully login, enter all necessary fields including course name, college name, district name etc, finally submit the application and take a print out for future reference.

Note: Fill all details carefully without any errors and mistakes. If the candidate given any incorrect information, The application/ admission will be rejected.

Any additional Fee/Charges Payable at the time of Admission:

Yes. The colleges offer free education besides free boarding and lodging to all selected candidates. However, caution deposit of Rs.25/- per year and maintenance charges Rs.1000/- for 1st year and Rs.1000/- in the 2nd year have to be paid to the joining of college as per the norms prescribed by Board of Intermediate Education, A.P.
